The Saint-Ambroise bar, located in the heart of Granby, is bursting with energy. In order to meet the growing demand and an overflowing activity, the addition of a new terrace with a covered space was necessary. Located along one of the city’s main arteries, this new space is a major asset for the establishment’s visibility.
Two distinct and complementary perceptions were developed in the bar area. First, UDO created and realized an installation, placed in the center of the space to focus the eyes and offer an evolving atmosphere during the evening. Secondly, the luminous envelope under the roof structure serves as a backdrop for the sculpture of luminous bottles.
Both visions are meant to be captivating; the discovery of a part of the installation from the main road and the arrival at the bar level, or the discovery of the whole reveals the volumetry of the installation and its evolution throughout the evening.
