JardinBotaniquede MontréalDragon
Assembled bamboo representing a dragon in sleep, it is installed at the edge of the garden of China. During our walk, we arrive nose to nose with the head of the Dragon, to then follow it throughout our course.
The rhythm of the light follows the dragon’s breath, evolving from an orange hue to a saturated red. The enveloping light ambiance brings us into the dragon’s environment while keeping a certain distance in case it wakes up. The light directions that include the surrounding vegetation allow us to recreate in shadow the impression of the dragon’s scales on the bamboo.
