Wilder
A heritage and cultural project in the heart of the Quartier des spectacles bringing together, among others, Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montréal, the Agora de la danse, the Ministère de la Culture et des Communications and the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec.
Making light dance
A grid of light dots is spatialized behind the glass walls to create flashes visible from the outside.
The luminous identity evolves during the evening and throughout the events. The lighting contains three layers of information, the dancers, the environment and the sound ambiance, these layers are both autonomous and interactive to transmit the different energies experienced inside the building.
Indeed, the constellation of small dots defines the diffusion space and the two layers of medium and large dots characterize the movement of the dancers and the musicality.
The facades come to life to the rhythm of the dancers, to create an urban ballet on the Place des Festivals.
